You stepped through the misty trees, walking slowly so not to run into anything that might suddenly appear in front of you. From your view you only saw rows and rows of trees, but you knew better. The folks around these parts told you about a legendary Pokemon that dwelled in a location that could only be found at certain times. You faced Rayquaza and defeated two villainous teams, what better time to run into a legendary than now?

"Stay close, Sceptile." You quietly said to your grass Pokemon. The forest Pokemon nodded, as he followed your movements. After a bit more of walking, the trees thinned out and you stumbled into a small open area. Ahead of you was a cave entrance. You swallowed and looked to Sceptile. "Prepare for anything, buddy. I doubt we're going in there without a battle."

Sceptile hummed his confirmation back to you as you both stepped through the cave entrance.

It was dark the first couple steps into the cave, but suddenly the room you entered into was lit with a warm, red glow. In confusion, you looked down into the room. You paled. Covering the lowest level of ground was a lake of lava. You felt the heat hit your face.

But besides the lava, the cavern was empty.

You frowned, but decided to look around. Maybe you could find a fire stone or a star piece lying around. You stepped down near the lava, but stopped and looked around the surrounding areas for anything.

"Are you looking for something?" You spun around on your heal to face a man you hadn't seen before. His raven hair was slick back and reached his shoulders and his skin was tanned. He wore a black tank top with gold slashes in it, while his pants were a crimson red that connected to his boots, all lined with gold. He wore red gloves that had gold designs on the top of them and just to make things stranger, there was red markings across his face. They seemed familiar.

"Uh, just looking through the rubble, that's all. You never know what you can find..." You spouted out, not really thinking about your response. The gold along his outfit seemed to glow gold at your answer. You noticed his eyes were the same gold color.

"You won't find anything like that here..." He began to slowly walk towards you. Sceptile hissed at him, moving in front of you. The man stopped. "You don't need to lie to me, girl, a normal person doesn't simply stumble upon this cave."

"Yeah? Than how come you're here?" You asked, stepping back. A smirk spreader across the mans face.

"I'm not just some normal person." You felt a shiver run down your back, as his glowing marks grew in brightness. Sceptiles lunged towards him in an attempt to make him step away. Instead the man's hand caught fire and he brought it near your lizard companion. Sceptile quickly leered back, rushing to your side. He was afraid, but he would protect you, if he needed to,

"Who are you?" You asked, holding your ground. The man put out the flames on his hand and looked to you with a cocky expression.

"I don't think you're in the position to ask questions. Who do you think you are? Walking into MY cave?" He slowly began to step towards you.

"... I'm ___ and what do you mean by YOUR cave?" You began to step back, being wary of the lava.

"Don't those humans teach you anything? A cave that appears out of nowhere. A Pokemon that brought up the land of the world. The Pokemon who saved many from floods, but now sleeps in the ground." The man stopped walking as he went on.

"You're not a Pokemon..." You pointed out.

"Then explain the fire." The man raised an eyebrow, before folding his arms. "I didn't feel like being captured the moment you stepped in here, so I decided to change forms."

"Then where were you? I didn't see you coming in. Human or not." You pressed on.

"In the lava. I didn't think you would look there." He unfolded his arms. "Recall your Pokemon, I don't want to have to hurt him."

You frowned, but if this was a legendary, you didn't want to put Sceptile in harm. If you got into trouble, Sceptile would know and come out. You recalled your grass type and looked to the man.

"What do you want? I won't catch you if you really don't want to be caught." You added. You knew when a Pokemon wanted to be caught and you never forced it on them. The man stood in thought for a moment.

"I wouldn't say that just, yet." He lifted up a hand and gestured towards him. Making you jump, the ground beneath you rose and slid over to the man, dropping in front of him. "... You're that girl..."

"What girl?" You asked, feeling the heat radiating off of him. You weren't sure whether to be relaxed or intimidated.

"The one that put mister big, bad dragon in his place." A grin spilt across the man's face, as he reached out and took your wrists. "I can feel that power radiating off of you. You're not just some token Pokemon trainer."

His hands were very calloused, but they sent an overwhelming heat through your body, that relaxed your muscles. Were you really that tight without realizing it?

"I'm not really one for letting a human push me around, but I think for you... I can make an exception." He leaned in close, his hot breath hitting your face, as his eyes glowed as bright as the lava beside you. "I didn't wake up for nothing, you better be more than a trainer."

"I'm not an ordinary one, that's for sure." You finally spoke up. "It would be an honor to have you in my team, legendary..."

"Groudon." He straightened up, looking down at you with a smirk. "I'm warming up to you already. You might have a grass type, but I know there's a fire blazing in you. But I have one question."

"Uh, what is it?"

"Will you be able to handle this?" Groudon pulled on your wrists to bring you closer, before pressing his lips against yours. It was certainly a heated kiss, as the legendary took most of the control and it was very quick. He pulled back and looked at you.

"If you give me better warnings... I could probably handle that." You answered, beginning to drift into a daze. Groudon's smirk grew, as he dipped you down, placing a hand on your back.

"Good answer. Than I would be "honored" to be on your team, ___." He pulled you back up straight and released you. "Now let's get ready for our fight."

He began to step into the lava, as you blinked.

"Fight?" You questioned.

"Well, yeah. Didn't you say you probably wouldn't go in there without a fight?" You felt your face heat up from embarrassment, as Groudon laughed, turning to face you. "If you can take on the lord of the sky, than the lord of the land shouldn't be too much trouble, right?"

You didn't get a response, as a light surrounded the man, transforming him into a giant primal behemoth. You knew it wouldn't be so easy.
This is one was fun to make, despite the idea being hard to come up with.
