Extra Chapter

~Third Person P.O.V.~

The Bad Touch Trio watched as their little girl walked away, humming. Julchen put her hands on her hips and watched her, feeling unsure.

"The awesome me wonders if she suspects..." Julchen muttered.

"Of course not, come on. Won't she be surprised!" Marianne cheered, pulling out her dress designs once more.

"A real birthday party!" Julchen brightened.

"With a real birthday cake." Isabel added, heading to the kitchen.

"Yes, and a dress a princess can be proud of." Marianne said, pulling out some dress fabrics, most of them blue.

"I'll get the wands." Julchen announce, walking off.

"Yes, you... the wands?" Marianne eyes widened, as she looked to Julchen.

"Oh no..." Isabel sighed. Marianne hurried over and blocked Julchen.

"No magic!" She reminded, causing Julchen to roll her eyes.

"But the sixteen years are almost over." Julchen whined.

"We're taking no chances." Marianne folded her arms and gave her a stern look.

"But the awesome me has never baked a fancy cake." Julchen complained.

"Oh, you won't have to, Mon ami." Marianne gestured over to Isabel, who was pulling out a cook book.

"I'm going to bake the cake." Isabel beamed.

"You?" Julchen cocked an eyebrow.

"She's always wanted to, mon chere, and this is her last chance." Marianne said, starting to give a pleading look to Julchen, who averted her eyes.

"Well..." She trailed off.

"I'm going to make it fifteen layers with pink and blue, forgive-me-nots-"

"And I'm making the dress!" Marianne interrupted Isabel.

"But you both haven't sowed or cooked for centuries!" Julchen exclaimed, as the other two took out the supplies.

"Oh, I'm just a bit rusty." Marianne waved it off.

"All you do is follow the book, anyways." Isabel added. Marianne pulled out a chair and directs Julchen over to stand on said chair.

"Up here, mon cher, you can be the dummy." Marianne said, emphasizing the ending part. Julchen scowled and fold her arms.

"Well, I still say we should just use magic." She grumbled. Marianne picked up a sheet of blue cloth and threw it above Julchen, before pulling out a pair of scissors. Meanwhile, Isabel laid out all the ingredients for the cake and began to read from the cookbook. Marianne began to take some measurements down, as Julchen narrowed her eyes at the fabric.

"It's blue." Julchen mumbled, bluntly.

"Oh, lovely shade, no?" Marianne beamed and began to cut through the fabric.

"But I wanted it to be red..." Julchen looked to the side, frustrated.

"Now, mon cher, we decided blue was her color." Marianne stated, giving Julchen a mature look.

"You decided!" Julchen added, as she shook her head. Marianne began to sew some pieces together and started to have Julchen try them on for size, cutting out anything necessary.

"It looks awful." Julchen scowled, noting the obvious thread marks and that the dress was still blue.

"That's because it's on you, mom cher." Marianne smirked, as she riled up Julchen. She continued to take measurements, as she let out a sigh.

"Sigh, how the child has grown..." She said softly, working on the sleeves.

"It seems only yesterday we brought her here." Julchen mused.

"Just a tiny baby." Isabel added, smiling softly as she stirred the cake ingredients. Julchen tears up a bit, but shakes it off.

"Why Julchen!" Marianne gasped in surprise.

"What the matter, chica?" Isabel frowned.

"After the day she'll be a princess, and we won't have any ___..." Julchen admitted, trying to compose herself.

"We all knew this day had to come." Marianne frowned a bit, as she continued to sow.

"But why did it have to come so soon?" Isabel whined a bit, pausing in her stirring.

"After all, we've had her for years." Marianne tried to point out.

"Many wonderful years." Julchen admitted, sitting down on the chair she was standing on. Everyone paused for a moment, before Marianne huffed and broke the silence.

"We're acting like a lot of mauviettes! Come on, she'll be back before we get started." Marianne stated, before she got back to work. The others soon followed.

Still inside the cottage, Isabel lights a match and begins to light the candles on the cake. It's a plain white color and is pretty bland.

"Well, what do you think of it?" Isabel asked, looking to the other two. Julchen wore the sort of finished dress of Marianne's, but some of the seams were peeking open and it was pretty simple.

"It's a very simple cake, isn't it?" Marianne managed a small smile.

"Yes. Of course it'll be much better after I start decorating it..." Isabel mused.

"Of course, mon cher. What do you think of the dress?" Marianne gestured to Julchen.

"Well, it's not exactly the way it is in the book, is it?" Isabel frowned a bit, putting a hand on her hip.

"I got the hang of it, again. But perhaps if I added few more ruffles? What do you think?" Marianne asked.

"I think so. What do you think, Julchen?" Isabel looked to the Prussian. Julchen huffed, before pulling off the half-finished dress. Luckily she was wearing her normal clothes underneath.

"The awesome me thinks we've had enough of this nonsense. I think we ought to think of ___, and what she'll think of this mess. I still think what I thought before. I'm going to get those wands." Julchen marched off to find said wands.

"You know, I think she's right." Isabel sighed, leaning against the table. Julchen rushed back in, holding three wands.

"Here they are, good as new!" She cheered. Marianne's eyes widened, as she shushed Julchen.

"Careful, Julchen! Quick, lock the doors. Isabel, you close the windows. Pluck up every cranny, we can't take any chances!" Marianne quickly said. Julchen rushed to the front and back door, securely locking each. Meanwhile, Isabel shut and blocked every window. Once done, Marianne handed each of them their wands. "And now, Isabel, you take care of the cake."

"While the awesome me-"

"Cleans the room, mon cher. And I'll make the dress. Well, hurry!" Marianne hurried Julchen, who growled in response. The Prussian tried to protest, but sighed in frustration, before holding out her wand. With the flick of her wrist, buckets, mops, brooms, etc came to life. With another flick, the cleaning supplies began to clean up the room. "And now to make a lovely dress, fit the grace of fair princess."

With the half finished dress and her ready to use wand, Marianne used her magic to produce another shade of blue fabric and stitched it onto the dress, while making finishing touches to the gown. While she was doing that, Isabel created colored frostings and other decorations for the cake, and began to intricately decorate it. Everything continues to go smoothly and quickly, until Julchen takes notice of the dress.

"Oh no, not blue. Make it red." She quietly did a spell, turning the once blue dress red. Marianne gasped.

"Julchen! Make it blue." She quickly returned the dress to its normal color and began to work on the collar. Julchen stomped her foot, before turning the dress red, again. It constantly went back and forth from blue to red and back, again.

The war of colors continues, until both girls hit the dress at the same time with spells. It looked like a graffitied mess and Marianne gasped.

"Guys, stop fighting." Isabel frowned, before a look of surprise came across her face. "I hear, ___!"

"Hurry, get everything ready and make sure everything's cleaned up!" The three quickly set everything up. Julchen quickly stopped the cleaning supplies and Marianne made the dress blue. Just as ___ stepped in, Julchen turned it red, again.

This was going to be a long day.
So... Red or Blue?
